La rivière et la mise au vent

Dewooling, fleshing, drying, dispatch of the finished product... Visit to a leather tanning factory in Graulhet (Tarn) and explanation of the different stages in the production of skin for articles of leather goods.

The film, initially silent and entitled Graulhet cet inconnu, was shot in 1953. In 1992, the director re-released it with sound under the title La rivière et la mise au vent.
