[Film de famille Boué : 1931, Banyuls, Vues de la plage]

Between September 1925 and June 1936, Jean Pailleret filmed his family and friends with a Pathé Baby 9.5 mm camera. The group is shown in intimate moments and through festive and collective scenes, encounters that exude conviviality and relaxation.

July 1931: holidays of the Pailleret family on the Côte Vermeille (vermilion coast) on Mediterranean Coast. Jean Pailleret makes a film rich in panoramic shots of the new Banyuls (Banyuls-sur-Mer), a fishing port which is opening up to the tourist activity of sea bathing practised by the wealthy classes.
