11th March 1931: a Pailleret's cousin is decorated with the Legion of Honor (the highest French decoration) at the Niel military barracks of Saint Michel district, in Toulouse. Jean Pailleret, present at the ceremony, films Marshal Pétain, then Inspector General of Anti-aircraft Defence reviewing the troops and his cousin on horseback, proud of his medal.
